Volume 2 of our European Historic Formula Junior record book series documents the period when support for Formula Junior decreased somewhat, particularly in the UK, leading to the founding of the Formula Junior Historic Racing Association. By the end of the 1990s Formula Junior was thriving with the Lurani Trophy and a UK Championship, both with full grids.
Historic Formula Junior Volume 2 is in the usual format of entry list, grid and results. In the majority of cases we have also been able to identify the chassis numbers. The books cover UK and Continental events, both FISA Trophy and national Formula Junior races, plus 1000cc Formula 3, Formule France, DB and MEP races. There are no race reports. As can be imagined, this has been a monumental piece of research, assisted by many of the competitors of the time, although inevitably a few events have proved illusive.
