Description
In 1999, St Leonards Press for The Formula One Register published “A Record of Motor Racing at Goodwood”. This was a complete record of EVERY RACE at this historic circuit from 1948 to 1966. As usual with our publications, it lists every entrant for every single race held including full result, grid positions, handicap and many chassis/registration numbers of competing cars. There is also a brief description of each event
The original book sold out in a short period of time. A 2nd Edition, limited edition of 150 copies is now available. This edition contains a considerable amount of new information as well as different illustrations.
This book provides an invaluable source of information on cars that competed at Goodwood, a subject that is of great interest to many owners since the inauguration of the Goodwood Revival and Members Meetings
Also available A RECORD OF MOTOR RACING AT CRYSTAL PALACE

Like the Crystal Palace publication,’A Record of Motor Racing at Goodwood’ is a little different from the traditional black record books. Comprised of two volumes, the books come in a slipcase and feature blue covers as well as some photographs (including a splash of colour!). The usual high standard of research is evident and there is enough data to keep a desert island castaway busy for months. In light of the Goodwood Revival meeting these books provide valuable background information about the drivers and cars of the circuit’s 1948-1966 heyday. A fascinating step back in time which is hard to put down. You will always learn something when dipping into these two volumes.
