A RECORD OF GRAND PRIX & VOITURETTE RACING VOLUME 12 (1985-1989)
£60.00
This volume (published in 2001) covers the 1985 to 1989 period. During this period the Formula One regulations seemed to change on an almost annual basis as the FIA strove to deal with the combination of atmospheric and turbo-charged cars. Despite this there was certainly no lack of entrants with, for example, the opening race in 1989 having none less than 40 entrants such that pre-qualifying was often needed. Not all of these entrants were, however, potential front runners. Who remembers Rial and EuroBrun. Formula Two became Formula 3000 to make use of the widely available Cosworth DFV.
At 358 pages the book contains, for the majority of races, full statistics including entry lists with starting numbers and chassis numbers of cars. A starting grid and full results are also included together with a brief description of the race. All races run to Formula One and F3000 (International, British & Japanese) regulations have been included.
